Recruitment for a new EU programme for entrepreneurs — the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG) Programme, operated by PFR Ventures — begins on 12 February. We are the largest Fund‑of‑Funds manager in Central and Eastern Europe, supporting the development of the VC/PE market in Poland. Destrier has provided accounting and reporting services to the majority of VC funds operating in Poland under the POIR programme implemented by PFR Ventures Starter, Open Innovations, Biznest, and CVC.

The activity of venture capital funds consists of investing capital in fast‑growing companies that are at an early stage of development or are innovative. The objective is to generate high returns on investment by participating in the success and increasing value of the companies they support.

The first calls for all five programmes will open on 12 February 2024. The second round of applications is planned for the last week of March. The expected timeframe for signing agreements with management teams is May–June 2024. In the second and third quarters of 2024, PFR Ventures plans to conduct approximately three additional rounds of applications.
